Billy Slabaugh Memorial Endowed Scholarship In Chemistry

Established by colleagues and friends in memory of Halliburton employee and Cameron graduate Billy Slabaugh in November 2010, this scholarship assists deserving full-time students enrolled at Cameron University and pursuing a course of studies in Chemistry.

Scholarship Criteria

  1. Must be seeking a degree in Chemistry.
  2. Must be a junior or higher in classification and have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better to receive the scholarship for the first semester of award.
  3. Once appointed, a recipient may retain the scholarship until degree completion if he/she remains a full-time student, maintains a 3.0 GPA and is making satisfactory progress toward degree completion in a chemistry program; however, no student will receive more than four semesters of scholarship support.
  4. Students from southwest Oklahoma graduating from a high school of 100 or fewer graduating seniors shall be given priority for receipt of this scholarship.
