Cameron University encourages students to take a National ACT exam for admission and scholarship purposes. However, if a student is unable to take a national exam, he/she may take an On-Campus ACT exam.
Students may only take the On-Campus ACT exam once during the year in which the respective On-Campus ACT examination is valid (November 1 through September 30) and the test date shall not coincide with a national ACT test date.
The Testing Center offers the On-Campus ACT by appointment once a month, usually on the second Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Please arrive by no later than 12:30 the day of the test. The ACT exam starts at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Students are required to make an appointment prior to the testing date.
To register for an On-Campus ACT, register online at https://www.registerblast.com/cameron/exam.
Students will receive a copy of ACT scores in approximately two days.
The next On-Campus ACT is February 11, 2020.
On-Campus ACTs can only be administered to those individuals who are enrolled at Cameron, have been admitted to Cameron, or are in the process of applying for admission to Cameron. Score reports from the On-Campus ACT are only valid at Cameron, and a copy of the score report will be forwarded to the Office of Admissions.
The fee for the test is $50.00, to be paid online with a credit card at the time of registration or with a check or money order made payable to Cameron University. Checks or money orders should be presented at the Testing Center on the day of the exam. A photo I.D. must be presented for admission to the test. Acceptable forms of I.D. include driver's license, military I.D., or current passport.
Test takers may bring a calculator to use on the math portion of the exam.
Study guides are available on the ACT website.
