New Student Orientation
Welcome to Cameron University!
We're excited to welcome you to campus this spring/summer. New Student Orientation is required for all First-Time Full-Time freshmen who have graduated or will graduate from High School in 2016 or 2017 and have not previously attended another University. If you do not meet these qualifications, you may be attending an alternative orientation program. That information will be sent to you via e-mail.
During your orientation session you can expect to learn how to access CU technology including Aggie Access, Blackboard, and your student e-mail. You'll meet upperclassmen and CU faculty and staff who will be happy to answer your questions. You'll learn about how to get involved on campus, how you can live on-campus, and more. At the end of the day you will meet with an Academic Advisor to enroll for the fall semester.

You will also need to change your "Aggie Pass" password. Information on how to do this is located in Blackboard.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
You will be provided with a folder of information when you check in for Orientation. You may want to bring extra paper and a writing utensil. A government issued photo ID is required for all testing. Additionally, you may purchase your student ID ($30) and Parking Permit ($50) that day so make sure you bring money for those. Note: Parking is free for those students that choose to live on-campus.
