Cameron University professor, alumnus invited to participate in art exhibit

Cameron University Professor of Art Katherine Liontas-Warren has been invited to participate in the third annual Untitled Monothon sponsored by Artspace by [Untitled], a community based contemporary art center that works to fill the void of experimental, conceptual, and installation art in Oklahoma. The Monothon is a juried exhibition of monoprints by 33 artists selected by a panel of jurors to participate in a marathon of printmaking. Cameron alumnus Rebecca Dierickx-Taylor has also been invited to participate.

The artists will create a monoprint in the [Press] at Untitled. Works will be exhibited from September 16 through October 1 and will be included in a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit Untitled programming.

A monoprint is a one-of-a-kind print achieved by applying paints or inks to a non-porous surface and then applying pressure to transfer that image to paper.
