Cameron University’s 2019 Homecoming celebration, “Traveling Through Time,” will offer alumni, friends and supporters a multitude of opportunities to gather on the CU campus. On Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, alumni and visitors can experience a variety of Cameron homecoming traditions, including the Homecoming Chuck Wagon Cookout, men’s and women’s basketball games, the 10th annual Aggie Family Fun Run, presentation of the annual Cameron University Alumni Association Awards, the annual Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Family Fun in the Aggie Rec Center (ARC) and more.

Friday, March 1
5:30 p.m. | Golf Cart Parade, Bentley Gardens
Get pumped up for homecoming during the annual Golf Cart Parade, which will feature a line of entries decorated by students to represent their on-campus organizations.
6 -8 p.m. | Family Fun in the REC, Aggie Rec Center
Bring the whole family to the Aggie Rec Center for an evening filled with games, activities, and high fives from Ole Kim.
7:30 p.m. | Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Reception, Cameron University Theatre
Congratulate the 2019 Athletics Hall of Fame inductees alongside Aggie athletic supporters during a special induction ceremony and reception in the Cameron University Theatre.
7:30 p.m. | Alumni Happy Hour, Mountain Boomer Tavern, 1320 NW Homestead Drive, Suite G
Sip on a drink and strike up a conversation with fellow Aggie alumni during Happy Hour at local hotspot Mountain Boomer Tavern.
8:30 p.m. | Bonfire and Pep Rally, South of Cameron Village
Slip on a coat, grab a cup of hot cocoa and gather by the bonfire with other Aggies as the spirit of homecoming and the smell of s'mores fills the air.
Saturday, March 2
9 a.m. | Aggie Family Fun Run, McMahon Centennial Complex Lobby
Jump-start homecoming with a quick morning run, a steady jog or a relaxing stroll around the Aggie Mile with you family and friends.
9:30 a.m. | Aggie Family Coffee/Breakfast, McMahon Centennial Complex Lobby
Come to the MCC with an appetite for breakfast, coffee and conversation with alumni and community members.
10:30 a.m. | Army ROTC Reunion, Burch Hall
Shake hands with former cadets, members of Army ROTC and staff members of the George D. Keathley Department of Military Science during an annual reunion.
12:30 p.m. | Chuck Wagon Cookout and Tailgate Party, Lawn between Burch Hall and Aggie Gym
Enjoy old-fashioned country chow and dessert during the Chuck Wagon Cookout - one of Cameron's most popular homecoming traditions.
2 p.m. and 4 p.m. | Aggie Basketball vs Angelo State University, Aggie Gym
During halftime, don't miss the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen, along with recognition of the Athletics Hall of Fame inductees.
7 p.m. | CUAA Awards Dinner, McCasland Ballroom, McMahon Centennial Complex ($25 per person)
Congratulate the recipients of the Cameron University 2019 Alumni Association Awards, honoring Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni, Faculty Hall of Fame, and Aggies of Tomorrow.
