Cameron University’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies and Department of Business will present “CU in Business,” an informational workshop that will highlight Cameron’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) degree programs. The presentation is slated for Wednesday, November 20, at 5:30 p.m. in the Johnson Auditorium, Room 111 of Ross Hall, on the Cameron University campus. There is no charge to attend. Dinner will be provided for those who pre-register. To register online, go to www.cameron.edu/cuinbusiness. For more information, contact Kaley Patterson, Graduate Admissions Coordinator, at 581-6749 or via email at email@example.com.
Dr. Krystal Brue, Chair, Department of Business, will present detailed information on Cameron’s MBA and MSOL degree programs, and current business students as well as alumni from CU’s graduate business programs will be on hand to offer first-hand insights about their experiences as graduate students. Attendees will have ample opportunities to ask questions about the programs.
Both the MBA and MSOL programs provide students with an in-depth look at business subjects, but each offers a different focus within the curriculum. The MBA exposes students to many different topics including finance, accounting, management and business strategy, preparing them for work in any business environment. The MSOL focuses primarily on management and leadership theories as well as their practice and implementation.
With these two options, Cameron’s Department of Business offers a degree that can provide a competitive edge for those in any industry working in large corporations, small and medium-sized businesses, nonprofits and governmental agencies.
