Cameron University invites residents of Duncan and the surrounding area to get into the holiday spirit at CU’s annual tree lighting ceremony and community reception. The event takes place on Tuesday, November 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the CU-Duncan campus, located at 3100 W. Bois d’Arc. CU President John McArthur, assisted by Ole Kim, will light the tree shortly after 6 p.m.
“We look forward to hosting this community event each year,” says Susan Camp, Director, CU-Duncan. “It is a festive opportunity for community members to visit their CU-Duncan campus and mingle with students, faculty and friends!”
Entertainment will be provided by the Cameron University Centennial Singers.
The free come-and-go event will include horse-drawn carriage rides, cookie-decorating stations for kids of all ages and the lighting of a fully decorated tree. Hot cocoa, coffee, cupcakes, popcorn balls and cookies will be served.
