The Cameron University Department of Art will present “Eclectic,” an art exhibit featuring the works of Cameron’s senior art majors. The show takes place at the Leslie Powell Gallery, 620 S.W. D Avenue. An opening reception is planned for Saturday, April 9 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and is open to the public at no charge.
“With works by five graphic designers and two painters, ‘Eclectic’ is the most appropriate way to describe the range of work that will be exhibited,” says Edna McMillan, Chair. “This show will, without a doubt, contain a diverse range of styles and mediums sure to satisfy anyone’s desire to seek diversity within art.”
Student artists whose work will be displayed are Meaghan Cheesman, Bismarck, N.D.; Miriah Cooper, Cache; Laura Kessler, Elgin; Raymond Nunez, Victoria Orndorff, Sharolin Paulsen-Fletcher, Lawton; and Great Osanife, Lekki Peninsula, Nigeria.
