Cameron University to host tree lighting at CU-Duncan

Cameron University invites residents of Duncan and the surrounding area to get into the holiday spirit at CU’s annual tree lighting ceremony and community reception. The event takes place on Monday, December 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cameron University – Duncan campus, located at 3100 W. Bois d’Arc. CU President John McArthur, assisted by Ole Kim, will light the tree shortly after 6 p.m.

"CU-Duncan’s annual tree lighting is a fun event for the entire family,” says Susan Camp, Director, CU-Duncan.  “We look forward to spending some time with our friends from Stephens County as we prepare for the holiday season.”

The come-and-go event will include horse-drawn carriage rides, cookie-decorating stations for kids of all ages and the lighting of a fully decorated tree. Hot cocoa, coffee, cupcakes, popcorn balls and cookies will be served.
