Cameron University to host Graduate Studies Preview Night

Cameron University will host Graduate Studies Preview Night on Tuesday, October 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the McCasland Ballroom of the McMahon Centennial Complex. Graduate Preview Night provides an opportunity to explore master’s degree options and gain valuable insight into the academic, career advancement and financial benefits of pursuing a graduate education. Attendees will be able to visit with representatives from each of CU’s graduate programs as well as financial aid, admissions and veterans affairs. After a brief welcome, attendees will attend in-depth sessions to learn the specifics related to their programs of interest. Individuals wishing to attend can register online at or by calling 580-682-5489.

“Graduate Studies Preview Night is a prime opportunity for individuals from a variety of disciplines to seek a master’s degree in a complementary field or to change a career path,” says Jamie Glover, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Current MBA student Ann Morris attended a previous Graduate Studies Preview Night to determine how she could benefit from a post-graduate degree. “With a background in graphic design, I wasn’t sure if an MBA would benefit me,” Morris says. “At Graduate Studies Preview Night, I learned that the MBA is a good option for individuals like me with an area of expertise or a sense of the business in which they are currently or seek-to-be employed. The MBA coursework provides an understanding of the overall function of an industry and how a business as a whole operates.”

Graduate programs at Cameron are offered in a variety of educational formats in online, hybrid, day and evening classes.

Cameron offers six quality programs that are affordably priced and offered in schedules to accommodate busy working adults. CU offers graduate programs in the following disciplines:
