Cameron University-Duncan will celebrate the arrival of spring with CU-Duncan SpringFest, a fun-filled evening for the entire family, on Thursday, April 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. The event takes place at CU-Duncan, 3100 W. Bois D’Arc, and is open to the public at no charge.
“We hope to see families from throughout the area at CU-Duncan SpringFest,” says Susan Camp, Director, CU-Duncan. “In appreciation of the continuing support we get from the community, we invite the public to enjoy this family-friendly event.”
CU-Duncan SpringFest will feature activities for all ages. An inflatable obstacle course, Twister and bounce houses will be on hand for those with energy to burn. Face painting and balloon animals will appeal to children, and a variety of outdoor games will give everyone a chance to test their skills.
Live entertainment will be provided by the Pan Express, Cameron’s steel drum band, beginning promptly at 5 p.m. The repertoire will include fan-favorites such as “Oye Como Va,” “Brazil,” “I Can See Clearly Now,” “Under The Boardwalk” and a host of other familiar tunes.
Free food and beverages will also be provided.
