Cameron University accounting students receive Outstanding Student Award from Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants

Two Cameron University accounting students were honored with the 2013-14 Outstanding Student Award by the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). Andrea Dollarhite, Jenks, and Karilee Gruenberg, Eldon, Mo., were recognized for their outstanding academic and co-curricular activities.

Dollarhite has served as president of the Accounting Club and as vice president of professional activities of Delta Sigma Pi, the international business fraternity, for the 2013-14 academic year. She is a student affiliate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a student member of OSCPA, and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She was recently named to Who’s Who Among American Universities and Colleges. She anticipates receiving a Bachelor of Accounting in May 2015.

Gruenberg has appeared on either the President’s List or the Dean’s List every semester. She was inducted into Delta Mu Delta, the business honor society, in March 2013 and served as the organization’s secretary this academic year. She was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, the interdisciplinary honor society, in March 2014. She will complete her Bachelor of Accounting in Fall 2014.
