Artwork by two Cameron University students has been accepted for “Transforming Viewpoints,” a national juried exhibition sponsored by Pittsburg State University. Jonathan Daoang and Roseanna Hamilton both submitted original prints for the exhibition. Their works will be on display from January 21 through March 3, 2014, in the Harry Krug Gallery at PSU.
“It’s so rewarding when our students work is accepted into national juried exhibitions,” says Katherine Liontas-Warren, Professor of Art. “We have some incredibly talented artists and printmakers in the Department of Art, and it is gratifying to know their creativity is being recognized.”
Daoang and Hamilton are each pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art. Both are seniors.
Daoang’s print is titled “Lillies and Water.” Hamilton’s print is titled “Mother’s Treasure.”
