Cameron University to host tree lighting at CU-Duncan

Cameron University invites residents of Duncan and the surrounding area to get into the holiday spirit at CU’s annual tree lighting ceremony and community reception. The event takes place on Monday, December 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cameron University – Duncan campus, located at 3100 W. Bois d’Arc. CU President John McArthur, assisted by Ole Kim, will light the tree shortly after 6 p.m.

"This is an annual event that everyone really looks forward to because it is fun for the entire family!” says Susan Camp, Director, CU-Duncan. “It’s a wonderful time for the community to visit our campus and enjoy some time with our students, faculty and staff.”

The come-and-go event will include horse-drawn carriage rides, cookie-decorating stations for kids of all ages and the lighting of a fully decorated tree. Hot cocoa, coffee, cupcakes, popcorn balls and cookies will be served.
