Cameron University Concert Band performance to feature Cache High School Band

The Cameron University Concert Band will share the stage with the Cache High School Concert Band during its Spring 2013 concert, scheduled for Thursday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Theatre. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Cameron students, faculty, and staff will be admitted at no charge with proper identification. The Cache High School Band, conducted by Ben Silber, will perform “Medal of Valor” by Steve Hodges, “On a Hymn Song of Philip Bliss” by David Holsinger, “A Huntingdon Celebration” by Philip Sparke and “Raise Your Joys and Triumphs High (A Chorale Prelude)” setting by James Swearingen.

Dr. Roy Couch conducts the Cameron University Concert Band. Their repertoire includes “Irish Tune from County Derry” by Percy Grainger and edited by R. Mark Rogers, “Pageant” by Vincent Persichetti, “Hold This Boy And Listen” by Carter Pann and “El Camino Real” by Alfred Reed.
