Cameron University broadcast students earn scholarships, awards during Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Student Day

Cameron University broadcast students fared well at the recent Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters (OAB) Student Day. OAB, which has hosted a student day for more than 20 years, continues to be a significant supporter of broadcast education in Oklahoma.

Sandra O’Brien, Lawton, and Eloise Herbert, St. Kitts and Nevis, were two of the six students statewide awarded an OAB Education Foundation Scholarship in recognition of academic achievement as well as student accomplishments in working in broadcasting.

Colton Rowe and Tiffany Hudson, both of Lawton, received awards in the statewide student competition hosted by the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association. Rowe won second place in the Radio Promo category, and Hudson earned a third place award in the Entertainment Short category.
