Cameron University Concert Band and 77th Army Band unite for free, combined concert

The Cameron University Concert Band will be joined by Fort Sill's 77th Army Band for a combined concert on Thursday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cameron University Theatre. The Cameron University Concert Band is conducted by Dr. Roy Couch, Assistant Professor, and the 77th Army Band is conducted by Chief Warrant Officer 1st Class Matthew David. Admission is free.

The repertoire for the concert includes “Golden Festival Overture” by James Barnes, “The Vanished Army” by Kenneth Alford, “Six Studies in English Folk Songs” by Ralph Vaughan-Williams as arranged by CWO1 David and featuring members of the 77th Army Band, “Eviler Elves” by James Kazik, “Ecstatic Fanfare” by Steven Bryant, “The Unknown Soldier” by Quincy Hilliard and “Symphony No. 2” by Frank Ticheli.
