Cameron University and Southwest Oklahoma Opera Guild present “Mozart & Mischief: Scenes from Mozart’s Comic Operas”

The Cameron University Department of Music will present "Mozart & Mischief:  Scenes from Mozart's Comic Operas," performed by vocal music students enrolled in this semester's opera workshop. The performance will take place on Friday, October 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the McCutcheon Recital Hall.  Admission is free, but seating is limited to 80 patrons.  This presentation is co-sponsored by generous funding from the Southwest Oklahoma Opera Guild.

Students participating in the performance are Jordan Brickhouse, Altus; Jereme Cobb, Melissa Delgado, Mark Deyesso, Jamie Hatcher, Jennifer Nixon, and Jose Rodriguez, all of Lawton; and Alyssa Yates, Elgin.  Piano accompaniment will be provided by faculty member John Cornish, who conducts the opera workshop.

The students will present scenes from three of Mozart’s most popular operas: "Cosi fan tutte," "Le Nozze di Figaro" and "Don Giovanni."
