Cameron University to host tree lighting at CU-Duncan

Cameron University invites residents of Duncan and the surrounding area to get into the holiday spirit at CU’s annual tree lighting ceremony and community reception. The event takes place on Thursday, November 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cameron University – Duncan campus, located at 3100 W. Bois d’Arc. CU President Cindy Ross, assisted by Ole Kim, will light the tree shortly after 6 p.m.

"This is an annual event that brings Cameron University and Duncan together for an evening of good cheer,” says Susan Camp, Director, CU-Duncan. “Community members, students, faculty and children are all welcome and everyone leaves smiling.”

The come-and-go event will include horse-drawn carriage rides, cookie-decorating stations for kids of all ages and the lighting of a fully decorated tree. Hot cocoa, coffee, cupcakes, popcorn balls and cookies will be served.
