Cameron students create video presentations for 7th Annual Eye Candy Awards Celebration

For the second consecutive year, Cameron University multimedia design students designed, developed and delivered state-of-the-art audiovisual presentations for the Lawton Enhancement Trust Authority’s annual Eye Candy Awards Celebration, held in early December.

Students Oluwatobi Banto, Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria; Bamidele Eleshin, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria; Alexander Owens, Lawton; and Son-Myong Park, Lawton, completed the project under the guidance of Dr. Abbas Johari, Professor of Computing & Technology.

“Cameron’s participation in the Eye Candy Awards as a multimedia provider allowed our students to gain valuable hands-on experience in providing electronic entertainment services,” says Johari. “Opportunities such as this, which engage our students in service-learning by transferring academic ideas into real-world experience, are invaluable and also serve as a demonstration to the Lawton-Fort Sill community of the top quality education that Cameron provides.”
