Holiday concert to feature CU Concert Choir and Centennial Singers

The Cameron University Concert Choir and the Cameron University Centennial Singers will present a program of holiday music on Monday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cameron University Theatre. The Cameron Concert Choir is directed by Dr. Earl Logan and The Cameron Centennial Singers are conducted by Doris Lambert. Admission to the concert is $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior adults with Cameron University students, faculty, and staff being admitted free with proper identification. 

The Concert Choir will perform "Still, Still, Still" by Norman Luboff, "To Us a Child is Given" a Christmas cantata by J. S. Bach, and "O Come All Ye Faithful" arranged by Norman Luboff. Soloists on the Bach cantata will be Jonathan Miller, bass, Melissa Delgado, mezzo-soprano, Brielle Capps, soprano, and Jared Grice, tenor.  Yiuka Chan Spannagel is the piano accompanist for the Concert Choir. 

The Centennial Singers will perform "Ihr Musici, Frisch auf!" by Hans Leo Hassler, "Lullaby Carol" by Molly James, "Ding-a-Ding-a Ding" by Greg Gilpin, "Swing a Christmas Carol" by Mac Huff, "Home on Christmas Day" by Mac Huff, and "Variations on Jingle Bells" by Mark Hayes. Soloists on the "Lullaby Carol" are sopranos Prudence Rivera and Brielle Capps. The Centennial Singers are accompanied by Kristina Henckel on piano.
