Just two weeks after being accepted into her seventh national exhibition, Cameron University student Rebecca Dierickx-Taylor has been accepted into a juried exhibition for Oklahoma artists. Her 10”x8” stone lithograph print "Birth of a Maelstrom" was selected for “Reining in the Arts,” a partnership of the Oklahoma Art Guild (OAG) and the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA). The juried art exhibit will take place during the final three days of the NRHA Futurity, December 2-4, in the North Hallway Entrance to Barn 3 of the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds.
"I am delighted to have been juried into my first regional exhibition," Dierickx-Taylor says.
The jury panel consisted of four art professionals including an NRHA representative, an Oklahoma media representative, a member of the Oklahoma state arts community, and a representative of the OAG board of directors.
Dierickx-Taylor is a senior art major from Lawton. Following graduation, she plans to pursue a career as a working artist, creating artwork in different media for galleries and juried exhibitions.
