Pianist Hyunsoon Whang and guest Keith Robinson to present KCCU benefit concert

Cameron University piano professor Hyunsoon Whang will be joined by special guest Keith Robinson on cello for a special concert benefitting KCCU on Sunday, May 2, at 3 p.m. in the University Theatre. The program will include the music of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and Mendelssohn. General admission tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting KCCU at 581-2472.

"The purpose of the concert is to support KCCU which is an integral part of our cultural life, and to bring high quality, live chamber music to the community," Whang says.

KCCU General Manager Ted Riley is appreciative of the support the concert will provide. "The KCCU team is pleased that Dr. Whang and Mr. Robinson will be performing in Lawton on behalf of KCCU," he says. "The benefit concert will raise much needed funds to support classical music programming on KCCU and will be a delightful treat for the audience."Hyunwoon WhangKeith Robinson
