Cameron University honors the Cleo L. Craig Foundation

The balcony of the McMahon Centennial Complex (MCC) will be named "The Cleo L. Craig Foundation Balcony," Cameron University President Cindy Ross announced today following approval by the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University Board of Regents. The naming comes in recognition of a major gift to Cameron University toward construction of the balcony extending from the McCasland Ballroom and overlooking the Bentley Gardens. The MCC will be dedicated during a gala ceremony in early April.

"Cameron University is pleased to recognize the support of the Cleo L. Craig Foundation by naming this balcony in the Foundation's honor," says Cameron President Cindy Ross. "Two generations of the Craig family have attended Cameron, going back to the early 1930s. For generations to come, the balcony will be a visible affirmation of The Cleo L. Craig Foundation's spirit of generosity and its significant support of Cameron University."

Serving as an open outdoor living space, the Cleo L. Craig Foundation Balcony commands a breathtaking view of the Bentley Gardens in the heart of Cameron's campus. Together with the McCasland Ballroom, this spacious and beautiful balcony will provide a memorable setting for wedding receptions and high school proms; graduations and meetings; and other special events in the lives of Cameron students and the southwest Oklahoma community.

Well known for vision and leadership, the Cleo L. Craig Foundation has influenced the course of scientific and educational causes in Oklahoma since its establishment in 1997.
