Eisenhower High band to join Cameron University Concert Band for spring concert

The Cameron University Concert Band will be joined by the Eisenhower High School Band for a Spring Concert on Tuesday, March 30 at the Cameron University Theatre. The concert gets underway at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for seniors, military and students. Admission is free to Cameron students with a CU ID.

photo of Cameron concert bandThe Cameron University Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Roy Couch, Assistant Professor of Music, will perform "Suite Divertimento" by Jay Gilbert, "Two Sketches" by Joseph Turrin, "Fantasia for Band" by Vittorio Giannini, "The Gum-Sucker's March" by Percy Aldridge Grainger, "Pacem: A Hymn for Peace" by Robert Spittal and "Bayou Breakdown" by Brant Karrick.

The Eisenhower High School Band, under the direction of Mr. Joel Haas, will perform "Southern Star" by David Gorham, "Tournament" by Stephen Bulla and "Dancing Reeds" by S.D. Eisch featuring clarinetists Susan Haas (director, Eisenhower Middle School Band), Elizabeth Mozingo and Kelsey Alden-Cox.
