Auditions slated for Cameron production of “My Fair Lady”

Cameron University's Department of Theatre Arts will hold auditions for Lerner and Lowe's "My Fair Lady" on Sunday, February 21 and Tuesday, February 23 at 7 p.m. in the University Theatre. Auditions are open to the public; those wishing to audition should prepare a memorized song from a  Broadway music. A pianist and CD player will be provided. "My Fair Lady" will conclude CU's 2009-2010 season, "Celebrating the Streets Where We Live!"

"My Fair Lady," the musical re-telling of George Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion," features such great characters as Eliza Doolittle, Henry Higgins, and Colonel Pickering. The award-winning music includes the songs "On the Street Where You Live," "Get Me to the Church on Time," "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face"," Wouldn't It Be Loverly," "The Rain in Spain," and "I Could Have Danced All Night".  The production will be presented on April 22-25.
