Parking, security information for CU Emerson Drive/Johnny Cooper Concert

Community visitors planning on attending Cameron University's Fall Concert on Friday, Aug. 21, are advised to park at Cameron Stadium utilizing the entrance from S.W. 38th Street. Overflow parking will be available on the CU campus in the west Shepler parking lot, accessible via Elsie Hamm Dr., east of S.W. 38th Street. Parking is also available throughout the CU campus.

Oversized bags, backpacks, duffle bags, coolers with drinks, cans and bottles will not be permitted in the stadium. Safety checks of allowable carry-in baggage or cases, such as handbags, purses, diaper bags, camera bags, or any like container, will be conducted by trained security officers. The officers will check for any unacceptable items, such as illegal drugs, alcohol, weapons, fireworks, signs on poles, and noisemakers.

Attendees choosing to enjoy the show from the field are reminded that food, gum and beverages other than water are not allowed on the field. Following performances by Johnny Cooper and Emerson Drive, the event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.

Cameron Stadium is a non-smoking facility.
