Northeast Online Lions Club donates trees to Cameron Campus

The Lawton Northeast On-Line Lions Club helped Cameron University celebrate Earth Day with the donation of two Red Oak trees. Allen Granger and members of the Northeast Lions Club joined Albert Johnson, Jr., CU Vice President for University Advancement, to plant the trees north of Cameron's Aggie Gym.

Breaking ground"The addition of these two trees to the Cameron University campus further transforms the look of our campus, which has been visually enhanced by new buildings and landscaping over the past few years," says Johnson. "We are grateful to Allen Granger and the Northeast On-Line Lions Club for their generous donation."

"The Lawton Northeast On-Line Lions Club, a branch of the Lawton Northeast Lions Club, wanted to do something for the Lawton/Ft. Sill community on Earth Day," says Granger. "We've been very impressed by Dr. Cindy Ross and her efforts to improve Cameron. Many of our club members have attended Cameron University, so we decided that we'd like to donate two trees to the university on Earth Day."
