Cameron University receives scholarship funding from The Helen W. Holliday Foundation

Cameron University has received a gift from the Helen W. Holiday Foundation in Lawton to fund scholarships for CU students, President Cindy Ross announced today. The $9,000 donation will be used to provide scholarships of $600 each for 15 CU students. The scholarship is a memorial to Helen W. Holliday, who wished to provide assistance to students who are conscientious in their educational pursuits, particularly those from middle-income families.

"The Helen W. Holliday Foundation has been a generous supporter of Cameron University for more than 25 years," says Ross. "We are grateful for this continued scholarship funding, which helps us provide access to higher education for deserving Cameron students."

Each student who is awarded a scholarship will receive a $600 stipend to be used for fees, tuition and books. The scholarships can be re-awarded yearly until the student has reached 128 hours.
