A sales associate from the Cameron University bookstore will be on-site at CU-Duncan for a limited time to assist students with the purchase of textbooks for the Fall 2009 semester. The sales associate will be at CU-Duncan on Aug. 18 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and from 2-4 p.m., Aug. 19-20 from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and from 2-6 p.m., Aug. 21 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and from 2-4 p.m., and Aug. 24 from 2-6 p.m.
Students may also place prepaid orders for shipping or in-store pickup through the Cameron bookstore's website. From www.cameron.edu, go to Quick Links and scroll down to Bookstore, or click on Academics, then Bookstore.
"We always make sure our CU-Duncan students have the ability to purchase their textbooks locally," says Susan Camp, Director, CU-Duncan. "Having a bookstore representative on the Duncan campus for purchases and buy-backs streamlines the process for our students."
CU-Duncan offers the following degree programs:
- Associate in Science in Interdisciplinary Studies
- Associate in Science in Business
- Bachelor of Accounting
- Bachelor of Business Administration
- Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies
- Master of Business Administration
In addition, CU-Duncan offers many classes that can be applied to additional degree programs that can be completed at the Cameron University main campus in Lawton. More than 100 classes are offered either on-site or via distance learning during the fall and spring semesters. In addition, the Duncan campus serves as a testing site for students who enroll in one or more of the 90 online classes offered by the University.
The Duncan campus also offers monthly on-site administration of the residual ACT, a tutoring lab, with free services provided in math, writing and reading, and a computer lab.
