Cameron University will host a come-and-go informational session about the university's Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree program at Redlands Community College on Wednesday, April 29 from Noon - 2 p.m. in the Redlands Conference Center. Attendees will learn about the four-year Criminal Justice degree that Cameron University offers on the Redlands campus.

Now in its second year, the CU at RCC Criminal Justice Program addresses the need for an applied, practitioner-friendly bachelor's degree program in the Oklahoma City area. Graduates of Redlands Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree program can easily transition into CU's four-year program. Additionally, the "fast track" nature of the program allows working professionals to complete the four-year degree in a timely manner. Classes are available onsite, online and through interactive television in a variety of scheduling formats.

Students with a degree in Criminal Justice pursue a variety of jobs in areas such as criminology, sociology, political science, psychology, social work, and other liberal arts and human services disciplines. Employment possibilities within traditional police, courts, and corrections areas are being expanded with opportunities in private business enhancing the opportunities available to graduates.
