Cameron University's Andrew Baker, assistant professor of art, will be a featured speaker this Saturday, November 7, at the Fall Staff Development Conference of the Oklahoma Science Teachers Association (OSTA). Baker will present "Web-Based Technology: A Discussion of Resources and Their Application in the College Classroom." The conference takes place at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
During Baker's presentation, participants will explore web-based services incorporating technology-based rubrics and assessments. All participants will be offered hands-on technology experiences, practical classroom application, and provided a list of technology-based resources available for teachers on the Internet.
The Oklahoma Science Teachers Association is a statewide professional association specifically addressing the interests and concerns of science teachers.
