SCIENCE STUDENT TUTOR - CENTER FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS
Cameron University’s Center for Academic Success is seeking a new tutor. Responsibilities include tutoring in a variety of subject matters, especially sciences, as well as some general clerical work as assigned. Hours are flexible and depend on your class schedule.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants are expected to have (1) achieved at least a sophomore classification, (2) at least a 3.0 GPA, (3) excellent communication skills, and (4) informal experience with computers, (5) taken entry level Biology and Chemistry classes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will have (1) achieved at least a junior classification, (2) at least a 3.5 GPA in their general education courses, (3) knowledge of common office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, (4) taken Human Anatomy, and (5) superior knowledge/performance in one or more science subject.
