Kurt R. Scroggins, M.D., Endowed Scholarship in Pre-Medical Studies

Established in March 2019 by Dr. Kurt Scroggins of Lawton, OK. This scholarship will assist students at Cameron University who are pursuing a degree in the area of Pre-Medicine studies.

• Recipient must be a junior or higher in classification and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher to receive the scholarship

• Once appointed, a recipient may retain the scholarship until degree completion if he/she remains a full-time student; meets the 3.5 GPA criterion for retention; remains committed to a goal of acceptance at an accredited medical school and is making satisfactory progress toward degree completion; however, no student will receive more than 6 semesters of scholarship support

• Quality of academic performance and potential for acceptance into medical school shall be more important than financial need
