Doss Owen Lynn President’s Distinguished Scholarship 

Established through the Estate of Doss Owen Lynn in October of 2005, this scholarship will assist exemplary students at Cameron University pursuing a degree. The criteria are as follows:

• First-time recipients must have a composite ACT score of 25 with an ACT subscore of 29 or higher in at least one area of specialization;

• The student must be enrolled full-time

• The student must be an active member of the CU Honors Program, which provides an enriched, innovative and high impact curriculum of honors courses coupled with experiential learning opportunities aimed at fostering civic engagement, scholarly activities and global citizenship.

• Scholarship recipients may continue to receive the scholarship for a maximum of four years (eight academic semesters) provided they remain qualified for and enrolled in the Cameron University honors Program and maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA).
