Bill G. Shahan Family Endowed Scholarship In Health And Physical Education

Established in March 2010 for the purpose of assisting any deserving full-time students enrolled at Cameron University.

Scholarship Criteria

  1. Recipient must be a sophomore or higher in classification and have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better to receive the scholarship for the first semester of award.
  2. Once appointed, a recipient may retain the scholarship until degree completion if he/she remains a full-time student; meets the 3.0 GPA criterion for retention; and is making satisfactory progress toward degree completion in health and physical education; however, no student will receive more than six semesters of scholarship support.
  3. Quality of academic performance and potential for degree completion shall be more important than financial need.
