Bill and Betty Burgess Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Created to financially assist military students with their education.

The scholarship shall be awarded based on the following criteria:

• The recipient must be a descendant of a noncommissioned officer or currently serving in the US Armed Forces as a noncommissioned officer or has indicated an intent to join the US Military by being a member of the CU ROTC Program.
• To initially receive the scholarship, student must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in courses required for the major.
• Once appointed, a recipient may retain the scholarship until degree completion if he/she remains a full-time student and maintains a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA on a 4 point scale. However, no student will receive more than eight semesters of scholarship support.
