New Cameron University endowed scholarship to benefit Native American students

Link Description

The Cameron University Foundation has established the Ethel Marie Gibson Endowed Scholarship in Biology and Health Science, thanks to the generosity of Tracie and John Davis. The couple chose to establish the endowment to honor the late Marie Gibson Tuck, Mrs. Davis’ mother. Prior to her marriage, Marie Gibson attended Cameron State Agricultural College, where she played basketball. The scholarship will benefit Native American students at CU who are pursuing a degree in one of the science disciplines. Preference will be given to student athletes and to Chickasaw and Choctaw tribal members. Recipients may retain the scholarship throughout degree completion for up to eight semesters.
