Group Exercise Classes

Group Fitness classes are a fun, motivating, and challenging way to fit exercise into your daily routine.

The patrons of the class are guided through the entire routine from beginning to end from a certified instructor. Classes are designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels and skills.

Class Descriptions

Circuit Blast- Jump from station to station for an intense calorie burning and strength training workout all in one! With our top of the line fitness equipment including BOSU balls, jump ropes, resistance bands, kettlebells, and so much more. We guarantee you will leave sweating, satisfied, and one step closer to your fitness goal.

Zumba- Combines high energy music from all over the world with easy to do dance moves in an effective workout that not only burns calories, but is also a ton of fun! Participants are invited to make up their own moves, to laugh, and more importantly to have fun while exercising.

Spin/Cycling- Indoor Cycling/Spin is a group exercise class done on stationary bikes. During the class the instructor simulates a ride. Together you travel on flat roads, climb hills, sprint, and race! It is truly a fantastic cardiovascular workout and class.

Slow Flow Yoga-This yoga class is slow, gentle movements and a variety of relaxation and meditation techniques. The class is designed for people who are healing, looking to destress or relax, and people looking to build calmness or meditate. Everyone is encouraged to bring your own mat, a towel, any props (blocks, straps, blankets, bolster, etc). This class normally will meet in the Shepler Center (Wichita Room).

Walking & Jogging-The Walking/Jogging class is designed to improve your cardiovascular endurance. The emphasis is on encouraging walking/jogging as a lifetime recreational activity and to improve health,emotional and social interaction.

Fitness Fusion-Targeting a variety of things like strength, balance, stability, core strength, agility and endurance. Challenging your muscles in different ways, by using weights, body bars, kettle bells,BOSU, stability balls, medicine balls and resistance bands/tubing. Always a different workout and never boring, providing a fast effective workout for people with busy schedules.

BUTTS AND GUTS-Focusing on the abdominals, lower back, hips, glutes, and thighs. This 30 minute class is a great compliment to any exercise program or a challenge on its own.
