CU Become a Teacher Logo

Community members considering entering the field of teaching are invited to attend “CU Become a Teacher,” free, specialized workshops presented by the Cameron University Department of Education. The workshops will cover the multiple pathways for becoming a teacher. Several dates and locations are available; select the one that works best for you. To sign up for a workshop, register here.

Workshop dates are listed below. Workshops will be held from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. More dates are on the way, so check back with us soon!

  • Monday, December 11th Elgin / Elgin Public Schools | 521 K Street
    Room 4 in the 2nd grade building - enter through the east door.
  • Thursday, January 11th Anadarko High School Library
  • Tuesday, January 23rd Cache High School Cafeteria
  • Thursday, January 25th Altus High School Cafeteria

There is no charge to attend.
