The Harold and Elizabeth Hackler Teaching Excellence Award will recognize a current, regular faculty member who is making outstanding contributions as a teacher at Cameron. Any Cameron University student or employee may nominate individuals for an award. Recipients will be selected by the Hackler Award Selection Committee.
Nominee must be a member of the regular faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher and have been a full-time member of the Cameron University faculty for at least three years. The candidate's principal assignment during the previous three years must be teaching. Past recipients of the award are eligible for future awards.
Nominees who meet the criteria will be asked to submit a current curriculum vitae, a summary of teaching evaluations for the previous three years, and a statement of teaching philosophy which should include descriptions of teaching innovations and distinguishing pedagogical techniques.
