Biographical Sketch
of Scott Richard Klein
I grew up and was educated in Minnesota. I received my
Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College,
and my Master of Fine Arts in Directing/Acting from Mankato State
University. I worked at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre as an
Actor/Teacher for a little over a year. I then spent five years in Odessa,
Texas where I was the Associate Director of the Permian Playhouse. I have
taught at Cameron since 1989 and have served as the chair of the Theatre Arts
Department since 1994. I enjoy both directing and acting. Please see my résumé.
I am on the board of
directors for the Lawton Community Theatre and the Southwest Theatre
and Film Association. I also maintain memberships with the
Oklahoma Community Theatre Association, the Texas Non-profit Theatres
Association, Oklahoma Speech Theatre Communications Association and the
Oklahoma Arts Council.
