Dr. Margery Kingsley is a professor of English at Cameron University,where she has taught since 1994.
Born in North Andover, MA, she
graduated from Princeton University and received her MA and PhD from the University of California Los
Angeles. She teaches primarily courses in
British Literature and composition
and has published numerous writings on English literature and culture
of the seventeenth and eighteenth
centuries,
including her 2001 book Transforming the Word: Prophecy, Poetry, and Politics in England, 
1650 - 1742. When not teaching or writing she enjoys working
out in the fitness center, playing tackle basketball with colleagues, and hanging out in L.A. Maintained
