Full Text

Article available in full-text online will display either  View Full Text in PDF Format (WilsonSelectPlus), or View Full Text in HTML Format (WilsonSelectPlus). Clicking on these links takes you to the text of the article in another database. Always cite the databases that actually contained the full text of the article (e.g. Wilson Select Plus from First Search)!

How do I find a print (hard copy) article in the library?

When an article is not available in full-text from the database, then you must determine if the library has the journal containing the article. In the database, the Cameron University icon indicates that the library owns at least some of the issues. Look for  In your library CAMERON UNIV on the Detailed Record page under Availability.

Does the Library Own the Specific Issue Needed?

From an article’s detailed record page in GenSciAbs, click on the link Search the catalog at your library.

If the library owns the journal, the full record containing the location and holdings will appear.

Does the library have the year you need? If not, follow the steps in the next paragraph.

What is the call number?

What is the format of the issue needed? Microfilm, bound, or loose?

Combine the citation from GenSciAbs with the call number and the format type from C.U.S.I.S.

Go to the 2nd floor to find the specific issue that matches your citation.

If the library does not own the journal title:

C.U.S.I.S. will display this message: No matches found; nearby STANDARD NOS are…

Go to Library’s homepage and search Online Serials Directory for the journal title.

Complete an interlibrary loan (ILL) request for items not at CU and with no full text in the databases.
