1976 - present	Cameron University, Lawton, OK Professor Music (Director of Percussion Studies) Department Chair (1983-1987) Achievements during chairmanship: Ten-year accreditation for the department by the national Association of Schools of Music. Founder of the Leta Mae Smith Guest Music Artist Series. Founder/conductor of the Cameron/Lawton Community Band. Music graduates continue to distinguish themselves as area music teachers, as students in graduate music programs, and as professional performers throughout the United States.
