Netscape 7.x  Modify and Uploading Web Pages


This page will show you the steps to be able to modify existing web pages and upload
them using Netscape Composer for version 7.x

In the browser windows change the URL to the page that will be modifiied.

At the top of the browser window select File and Edit Page.

Make the changes to the page then click on the Save button to save the document.
You can save it will any name you want (does not have to be index.html).

Next click on the Publish icon.

Click on the Settings tab (see image below)  in the Publish Page pop-up window and change the information.
Be sure to use www.cameron.edu and NOT cuok.cameron.edu or cuok2.cameron.edu.
Change the path from gregd to your login name and also the user name to your user name.

Click back on the Publish tab and enter your "Page Title" and "Filename".
Leave subdirectory blank unless you are putting the file into a subdirectory
in your public_html directory.  Be sure to click "Include images and other files"
and click "Use same location as page".

Next Click on the Publish button.

It will prompt you for your www.cameron.edu password to your account.

If everything was entered correctly then the page will be uploaded successfully.
