In this Source Analysis
Piece you will
be examining sources for purposes of reconstructing attitudes of the
transitional crusading era of the 15th century. Using the sources
on pp. 397-407 of Allen & Amt, our last primary source selection of
the semester, discuss the following two themes: 1) attitudes towards
the crusading enterprise in comparison with earlier eras that we have
discussed and 2) attitudes towards the Turks in comparison with
attitudes expressed towards Muslims of earlier eras that we covered
this semester. Your paper should be
1-2 typed,
doubled-spaced pages in length, written in Times Roman, 12-pt. font and
must be properly footnoted (see me before starting an assignment if any
of these standards are unclear). Once completed submit you paper
to the Paper Submission Portal of the course's Blackboard module.
To receive credit, the paper must be in by 11:59 p.m. on Monday,
