Recycle program

Wal-mart is doing a recycling program open to the public. West side Wal-mart is looking for recycling bins to purchase. City has completed the request for proposals and there are 5 park locations that can have recycling bins. Private concerns have entered the field such as J’s Recycling.

Median Projects

Need signage for Sheridan/Wal-mart median and I-44/Cache road median. After discussion , it is uncertain what areas on Gore and Sheridan are amenable to constructing a landscape in the median

R. Bellino to initiate signage
C.Dentler and K.Jackson to bring to next meeting list of areas on Sheridan and Gore amenable/safe to placing  median landscaping

Underpass at Quanah Parker

D. Burk says B. Hadley approves of the changes that Monkey Business made on the murals. The mural needs graffiti protection. We have purchased the materials for graffiti protection

The   tunnel at the underpass is the responsibility of the City.. It needs extensive work to rehabilitate

R. Bellino to contact Mike Brown who agreed to pay for the mural with his logo to obtain funds to reimburse Monkey Business. Ask Monkey Business if they will apply Graffiti coating.
C.Dentler says that they will have to schedule the repair of the tunnel

Littering Campaign/Trash-Off

Trash Off is Sat. April 19th from 9:00AM to 2:00PM at McMahon Auditorium Parking Lot.
