DO NOT start paying for the services of a tutor without prior approval by VA.
Contact the CU-VA office to complete the necessary forms. Tutors are paid
for on a reimbursement basis only.
Difficulty in a course is not a basis for VA to fund a tutor. If you are
making a D or a F grade, as verified by your professor, then you may be
eligible to receive reimbursement for individual tutoring. Exception:
Chapter 31 students contact your case manager.
