Remedial and Prerequisite Courses |
- All VA students must provide placement testing scores
indicating a remedial/refresher 0 level course is required before
VA will approve the course for payment.
- VA will pay for remedial courses provided the course has not previously
been successfully completed, and the student test results show the course
is needed.
VA will not pay to take a remedial course, in which the placement scores
indicate the student tested for a higher level course, than the course
the student enrolled in.
- VA will only pay for college level prerequisites provided: the
prerequisite course is
- listed as a prerequisite course in the university catalog for a course
that is required for the student's VA stated objective
or
- the student still lacks general elective courses,
then VA will pay for the credit.
